When poet W.R. Wallace wrote, "For the hand that rocks the cradle, is the hand that rules the world," he was speaking of mothers, not precisely evangelism. However, followers of Christ should sense that we are in a spiritual battle over the cradle. Whose hand is rocking the cradle? Who is impacting the next generation?
Look around and you will see that our secular culture is greatly impacting children and families. The American Worldview Inventory 2021 report stated that a mere 17% of Christians who consider their faith important and attend church regularly have a biblical worldview. Again, we can look around and see that our children and families are inundated with non-Christian worldviews from print to screen. It seems that human reasoning is replacing God's Word and rocking the cradle.
Where does biblical truth and a biblical worldview come from?
Psalm 78 tells us that we believers must not hide God's truths from the children, we must tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His power and His mighty words. God created us. He knows our hearts.
He knew how important it was to reach the next generation- to reach children. He knew that children who believe would not have decades of secular baggage to overcome when presented with the hope of His Son:
almost 1/2 of all Americans who accept Jesus as their Savior do so before reaching the age of 13 (43%)
2 out of 3 born again Christians (64%) made that commitment to Christ before their 18th birthday
1 out of 8 born again Christians (13%) made their profession of faith between 18-21 years old
Only when we believers realize that "the darkness" is not our problem, because darkness will always be dark, but that the light of Jesus in us is getting dimmer, will we be positioned to hear from Him about strategies to turn culture around by replacing darkness with light! It all hinges on US becoming more like JESUS and reflecting HIS light!
“I believe now more than ever that we’re in desperate need of an awakening—and a biblical worldview revolution,” said Arizona Christian President, Len Munsil.
Could it be that this awakening will come through children?
Next Generation IMPACT wants to see each next generation set its hope on God. We want to empower God’s people to pick up the banner, to go and tell. We believe and fully embrace Psalm 78 and commit wholeheartedly to finding others who will do the same!

OTHERS SAY IT BEST!
“I am so excited about Next Generation Impact. If there was ever a time to reach the next generation with the Gospel of Jesus, it is now. As I travel the world and speak to young future leaders, I see such a need to get back to the basics of our Christian faith. Next Generation Impact is committed to filling this need as they help the next generations get grounded in their faith. This commitment will pay huge dividends now and in the future!”
